CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT CHIN M. COX

Chief Master Sergeant Chin M. Cox is the Command Chief Master Sergeant, 22nd Air Force, Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Ga. She advises the 22nd Air Force Commander on all matters concerning the health, morale, welfare, readiness, and effective management of more than 9,800 assigned enlisted members at 64 locations. The 22nd Air Force contributes to worldwide operational missions to include aerial spray, fire suppression, weather reconnaissance, tactical airlift and airdrop, and aeromedical evacuation. Chief Cox provides leadership and guidance as the commander’s representative to numerous committees, councils and boards, and military functions throughout the command.

Chief Cox entered the active duty Air Force in 1991 as a diet therapy technician and was stationed at Edwards Air Force Base, Calif. She retrained to become an aeromedical evacuation technician in 1998. Her senior noncommissioned duties have been at the unit, wing, and major command levels. Chief Cox has deployed in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. She has held senior enlisted positions at the Air Force Reserve Command’s Yellow Ribbon Integration Program and at Luke Air Force Base, Ariz., and on the Joint Staff at the Pentagon. Prior to her current position, she was the Command Chief Master Sergeant for the 439th Airlift Wing, Westover ARB, MA.
