39th FTS Cobras take over San Antonio Sky, test new pilot training syllabus

Maj. Adam Huebel, 39th Flying Training Squadron T-1 instructor pilot, prepares water-filled fire extinguishers for use by the children of retiring teammate Lt. Col. Brian Sciantarelli who flew his final Air Force mission during the squadron mandatory unit training assembly Oct. 29. Spraying down a pilot following a fini flight is an Air Force tradition. During the MUTA, the 39th FTS also assumed responsibility for all 12th Flying Training Wing flying operations in support of the annual “Cobras in the Clouds” exercise.
