Storms can help us better understand ourselves, others

Lt. Col. Cary Herndon, 97th Flying Training Squadron flight commander, climbs out of the crawl space under a teammate's house after fixing some broken water pipes. Sheppard AFB, like most of Texas, experienced days of freezing temperatures during an unprecedented storm in February. Herndon and his 97th FTS teammates worked together to take care of each other during the storm. (U.S. Air Force photo)
