Mitchell assumes command of UFT

Mark Pasierb (center) relinquished responsibility of UFT to Lt. Col. David Mitchell (right) at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas on Feb. 15, 2023. Mitchell is now responsible for the overall success of the official flying training program of the Air Force Reserve, supporting the Air Force's total-force effort to select and train high-quality rated, flying officers and all pipeline students entering Basic Military Training and applicable follow-on courses required to become qualified Career Enlisted Aviators.
