Aviator shares dad's passion, passes it on to his son
T-6 Instructor Pilot Lt. Col. Andrew Kissinger (center, front row), who retired from the Air Force Reserve on June 1, celebrates with his wife, Diana, sons Nicholas and Anders, daughter Paulina and father "Dutch", as well as Reserve and regular Air Force teammates from the 340th Flying Training Group, the 39th Flying Training Squadron, and the 12th Flying Training Wing following his May fini flight. Kissinger, who logged over 7,500 flying hours in the T-6, T-37, T-38 and the B-52, followed his father into an Air Force aviation career, sharing that passion with 17-year-old son Nicholas, who is already preparing the follow that path as well.
