JOINT-BASE SAN ANTONIO-Randolph, Texas –Tech Sgt. Brett Daniel, financial services technician, and Tech. Sgt. Kassandra Farani, assistant noncommissioned officer, in charge, force management, have been chosen as the January and February 2019, 340th Flying Training Group, “On the Spot” award winners.

Daniel, the January winner, was recognized for the excellent customer service he provided to the group and its geographically separated units. He is the group’s only military pay input technician. He researched numerous pay records to ensure every pilot received the correct aviation incentive pay.

Farani, the February winner, was lauded for her tenacious efforts to help customers and ensure they have exactly what they need.

Col. Allen Duckworth, 340th FTG commander, created the award to facilitate On the Spot recognition, promote productivity and provide immediate and visible recognition for the contributions of exceptional civilian and enlisted headquarters' Airmen as they occur. The award lets Airmen know that someone has noticed their noteworthy contribution. On the Spot Award winners get to park in the commander's parking spot for one week.
