WHERE ARE YOU FROM?  Born in Austin, TX (0-5 years old), raised in Honolulu, HI (5-18 years old)

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE AIR FORCE? 16.5 years

HOW LONG IN THE RESERVES? WHAT IS YOUR STATUS? (AGR, TR, ART)? 1 year and 3 months.  Currently an ART, before that I was a TR, before that I was active duty..

WHY DID YOU JOIN?  I joined because at the time I was looking for some stability and discipline in my life and I knew joining the Air Force would bring me these things.

HOW LONG WITH THE 340TH FTG? I began working here in July 2018.

WHAT IS YOUR DUTY TITLE?  Occupational safety manager

WHAT DO YOU DO ON THE CIVILIAN SIDE?  When I was a TR I worked briefly as an inspector for low-Income housing for the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs, now I am an occupational safety manager.

HOW DOES YOUR JOB SUPPORT THE 340TH FTG MISSION?  Promoting mishap prevention by performing inspections, teaching safety classes, investigating mishaps, analyzing mishap trends, and marketing safety.

WHAT DO YOU FIND MOST REWARDING ABOUT YOUR WORK AT THE 340TH?  Getting to wear the uniform as well as working with the people.

FAMILY? SPOUSE/KIDS?  I have a younger half-brother who is in the Army Reserve and a younger half-sister who was active duty Air Force.  I also have a rabbit named Dany and a greyhound named Arya.

ANY COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES?  I volunteer at the San Antonio Food Bank warehouse.

WHAT IS THE ONE PIECE OF INFORMATION OR ADVICE ABOUT WORKING AT THE 340TH FTG THAT YOU'D PASS ON TO NEW MEMBERS OF THE 340TH FTG TEAM?  You will never go hungry here, the people here are always bringing in delicious food.
