JOINT-BASE SAN ANTONIO-Randolph, Texas

WHERE ARE YOU FROM? Evergreen, Alabama

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE AIR FORCE? 11 yrs. 4 months

HOW LONG IN THE RESERVES? 11 yrs.

WHAT IS YOUR STATUS? (AGR, TR, ART)? AGR

WHY DID YOU JOIN? Growing up I learned a deep respect for people, especially people that served before me. Although I completed college first, something was still missing. Questions that I had as a child were still unanswered. How could they fight for me? Why would they pay the ultimate sacrifice? I felt, then and still do, that although we are not always perfect, we live in a great country. I saw joining the military as a way to honor those before me and contribute to the well-being of the Nation and the people. So in 2009 I joined the most prestigious branch of the military, the U.S. Air Force!

HOW LONG WITH THE 340TH FTG? Four months

WHAT IS YOUR DUTY TITLE?  I am the Personnel Systems Management, Installation Personnel Readiness and Civilian Personnel Liaison division chief.

WHAT DO YOU DO ON THE CIVILIAN SIDE? I am a marriage family therapist

HOW DOES YOUR JOB SUPPORT THE 340TH FTG MISSION? The greatest thing about my job is that we support the 340th in three different capacities, personnel systems management, installation personnel readiness, and civilian personnel.  Because they are three completely different responsibilities, it makes my section very unique!

Personnel Systems Management is responsible for granting systems access across the 340th FTG/HQ including GSU’s so that all assigned personnel can complete day-to-day tasks.

Installation Personnel Readiness’s main goal is to ensure that all deployment requirements are accurate. We not only confirm that all information for the deployment is correct, we also make sure the selected individuals are qualified for the tasked deployment.

Civilian Personnel Liaison helps managers navigate the civilian personnel processes while acting as a conduit between the group, squadrons, and civilian personnel offices, as well as serving as a civilian personnel subject matter expert.

WHAT DO YOU FIND MOST REWARDING ABOUT YOUR WORK AT THE 340TH? The most rewarding thing about my job is COLLABORATION. I’m a part of a team that includes some of the most knowledgeable Airmen in the Air Force; the level of experience they have is breathtaking. Although each person offers different ideas and opinions, we are all dedicated to the mission!

FAMILY? SPOUSE/KIDS? I am happily married to Mr. Joseph Tolliver and we have two amazing boys Jordan, 16 and Auston, 8.

ANY COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES? I enjoy being the team mom for my son’s football team. I also serve on the worship council at New Creation Christian Fellowship Church

WHAT IS THE ONE PIECE OF INFORMATION OR ADVICE ABOUT WORKING AT THE 340TH FTG THAT YOU'D PASS ON TO NEW MEMBERS OF THE 340TH FTG TEAM? Every day won’t be easy, but find a way to smile! Enjoy the ride and take care of your people because if you do the mission will never fail!

NAME ONE THING YOU’D LIKE FOLKS TO KNOW ABOUT YOU? I am a very energetic person! I love basketball and I am a diehard ALABAMA FAN, Rooooollllll Tiiiiide!

What I am doing during COVID? Often times, working families don’t get this much time off so I am using this time to focus on my family!
