WHERE ARE YOU FROM? I was born and raised in San Antonio.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE AIR FORCE? I’ve been in the Air Force for 14 years-admin support the whole time.
HOW LONG IN THE RESERVES? WHAT IS YOUR STATUS? (AGR, TR, ART)? I have been in the Reserves for 14 years and an AGR for 10 months with the 340th FTG
WHY DID YOU JOIN? I joined the Air Force because my Uncle Roy Meza was a great role model and was very successful in his career. I knew the Air Force would provide a great life for me and my family.
HOW LONG WITH THE 340TH FTG? I worked with 340th FTG for two years from 2013 to 2015. This time around it’s been since December 2019 so about 10 months.
WHAT IS YOUR DUTY TITLE? Section Chief, Commander Support Staff Administration
WHAT DO YOU DO ON THE CIVILIAN SIDE? I am a real estate agent/team lead for Trendstar Realty, LLC. I help clients find affordable homes, sell their homes and I also work commercial real estate transactions.
HOW DOES YOUR JOB SUPPORT THE 340TH FTG MISSION? My primary responsibilities are to manage administrative functions for the 340th FTG Commander and assigned personnel. I maintain support and administrative staff support functions while ensuring day-to-day operations comply with current policies and procedures. I run programs such as: the Air Force Reserve Orders Writing System (the vehicle to request, track, and print approved orders) AROWS-R \Air Reserve Component Network\ARCNet, Defense Travel System, Government Travel Cards, UTAPS, and Records Management.
WHAT DO YOU FIND MOST REWARDING ABOUT YOUR WORK AT THE 340TH? The 340 FTG is my second family, we all take care of each other. I love to help people and provide excellent customer support. We have a great CSS team that works very well together to help meet the 340 FTG mission needs.
FAMILY? SPOUSE/KIDS? I have three daughters Chloe, Aubrie and Faith and another baby girl on the way in 7 weeks (Abigail).

WHAT IS THE ONE PIECE OF INFORMATION OR ADVICE ABOUT WORKING AT THE 340TH FTG THAT YOU'D PASS ON TO NEW MEMBERS OF THE 340TH FTG TEAM? Working for the 340 FTG is like going to Disneyland. There’s never a dull moment and every day is exciting and fun. The staff will never let you down and will always have your back.
NAME ONE THING YOU’D LIKE FOLKS TO KNOW ABOUT YOU? My favorite show is Ancient Aliens and I do believe there are green little aliens out there.
