560th & 39th FTS Pilot for a Day visit

On Aug. 28, 2024, personnel from the 12th Operations Group, 560th Flying Training Squadron, and 39th Flying Training Squadron pose for a group photo with two hospital service dogs after participating in the second Pilot for a Day Roadshow which was coordinated with Christus Children’s Hospital of San Antonio, Texas. The Pilot for a Day roadshow program is a community outreach initiative conducted by the 560th FTS and 39th FTS that offers children with serious illnesses a day of excitement and distraction from their medical challenges by giving them an opportunity to interact with service members and engage in activities that simulate the experience of being a pilot at their respective location.
