Darden assumes command of 433rd TRS ‘Raiders’
Lt. Col. Kurtis Darden, 433rd Training Squadron commander, salutes Col. Anthony Straw, 340th Flying Training Group commander, after assuming command of the 433rd TRS at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas on Feb. 27, 2025. Darden is now responsible for the only all-Reserve military training instructor unit in the Air Force. The 433rd TRS still serves as a prime example of total force integration, 433rd Reserve MTIs serving side-by-side with their 37th Training Wing active mission partners at JBSA-Lackland to create the next generation of Airmen.
