19th AF commander visits 340th FTG

Justin Apticar, 19th AF command chief master sergeant, a tour and briefing during their first visit to the “Avengers” group at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph on Sept. 8, 2022. Both Stewart and Apticar were briefed on the group’s support role and the role each squadron has at Vance Air Force Base, Okla.; Joint Base San Antonio, Texas; Columbus Air Force Base, Ohio; Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas; Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas; and the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo. Stewart assumed command of the 19th AF on Aug. 19, 2022, at JBSA-Randolph who now oversees top level instruction and flying operations manning, contracts, logistics and maintenance trends.
