I joined for the education benefits and to provide for my family by serving my country.
HOW LONG WITH THE 340TH FTG?
I’ve been with the 340th for two and a half years.
WHAT IS YOUR DUTY TITLE?
I am the NCOIC, Personnel Systems Manager\ Civilian Personnel Liaison \Installation Personnel Readiness.
WHAT DO YOU DO ON THE CIVILIAN SIDE? I am a full time Masters of Health Administration student at the University of the Incarnate Word.
HOW DOES YOUR JOB SUPPORT THE 340TH FTG MISSION?
My work provides data integrity and data analytics for all personnel records, assists in civilian personnel hiring and manpower and ensures all personnel are accounted for and are deployment ready to assist our active duty component.
WHAT DO YOU FIND MOST REWARDING ABOUT YOUR WORK AT THE 340TH?
The opportunity to work with and learn from great leadership. Being able to utilize the leadership skills in the field is rewarding for more than just myself, it’s also rewarding for my customers as well.
FAMILY? SPOUSE/KIDS?
I am the oldest of six. I have a huge family! One sister, Four brothers and one stepsister. I have one son, one daughter, four nieces and six nephews.
ANY COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES?
I was a cheer coach for the San Antonio Longhorns football cheer organization for the past year. I transitioned out to focus on my studies.
