WHERE ARE YOU FROM? I’m originally from Panama City, Florida however I grew up in Laramie, Wyoming, we moved back to Panama City when I was 14 going into High School.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE AIR FORCE? 22 active years

HOW LONG IN THE RESERVES? WHAT IS YOUR STATUS? (AGR, TR, ART)? I entered the reserves in 2006, my current status is AGR.

WHY DID YOU JOIN? To see the world. The Air Force has afforded me that along with a multitude of other opportunities.

HOW LONG WITH THE 340TH FTG? I’ve been with the 340th for about eight months.

WHAT IS YOUR DUTY TITLE? Military and Travel Pay section chief

HOW DOES YOUR JOB SUPPORT THE 340TH FTG MISSION?  My job supports the mission by providing timely, accurate and professional service for all our 340th customers when it comes to military travel and pay.

WHAT DO YOU FIND MOST REWARDING ABOUT YOUR WORK AT THE 340TH? The most rewarding thing about working at the 340th is the people I work with daily, they make my job easy that’s why I love coming in everyday driving the mission.

FAMILY? SPOUSE/KIDS? My parents are both deceased. My immediate family well there are eight of us all together six girls/two boys me and yes I have a twin sister. We are the last of the bunch. I do have a significant other - Niki, and I have one child - Shy.

ANY COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES? I’m still getting to know the area as I’m new to San Antonio. I do like to volunteer with the women and children’s shelters, and I will hopefully get back into working with Meals on Wheels.

WHAT IS THE ONE PIECE OF INFORMATION OR ADVICE ABOUT WORKING AT THE 340TH FTG THAT YOU'D PASS ON TO NEW MEMBERS OF THE 340TH FTG TEAM? The one piece of advice I would offer is to ask questions, and realize that everyone’s situation is different.

NAME ONE THING YOU’D LIKE FOLKS TO KNOW ABOUT YOU? I’m super big on spending time with FAMILY in Florida! And the beach is where I go to escape.
