340th FTG August On-the -Spot Award winners

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas – Master Sgt. Janina White, 340th Flying Training Group Force Management division chief and Tech. Sgt. Ecstacy Hardaway, 340th Flying Training Group Force Management assistant noncommissioned officer in charge, have been named the August 2020 On the Spot Award winners.

Candidates are nominated by the senior noncommissioned officer council for the monthly award, which is presented by Col. Michael Vanzo, group commander. The award promotes productivity and provides immediate, visible recognition for exceptional civilian and enlisted contributions, as they occur.

These two force management team members are being lauded for the ongoing service they have provided during the COVID-19 restrictions which included implementation of a stop movement order affecting all military organizations and direction for military members around the world to work from home.

The force management division is responsible for managing some critical Reserve personnel programs including, but not limited to, gain actions, Active Guard and Reserve extensions, curtailments, tracking AGR continuation decision review boards, unit personnel management roster management, sanctuary zone, retirements and more.

White and Hardaway ensured the hiring process was not impacted, provided smooth transitions for new hires and continued to work a host of ongoing actions to care for Reserve Citizen Airmen and the unit.

In appreciation for their exceptional performance, every on the spot winner is provided the commander's parking space for the week of their choice.
