Maj. Katrina Gagner, instructor pilot for the 97th Flying Training Squadron, Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, shares her thoughts on the value of Reserve service, including the opportunity to engage in the local community. She and her husband (also a 97th instructor pilot) accepted Reserve positions to enable them to have more control over their schedules and improve their work-life balance.
