Janis El Shabazz, 340th Flying Training Group public affairs specialist, prepares to shoot a “selfie” for the monthly On-the-Spot Award story. El Shabazz manages the group’s public web and social media pages, writes articles and shoots photos to highlight members of the group and its seven squadrons, and supports a variety of other public affairs functions, civic outreach events, command interest items, and more.
