Guardian Angels Rescue Lost Father and Daughter Near Mt. Hood
Rescue personnel from the 304th Rescue Squadron and 125th Special Tactics Squadron recover an injured 34-year-old man and his 7-year-old daughter after the hikers we reported lost for two days. The rescuers had to navigate, with the injured patients on litters, through roughly one kilometer of dense terrain in order to reach the nearest service road. The 304th trains, equips, and deploys Combat Rescue Officers, Pararescuemen, and support personnel worldwide in the interest of U.S. national security. (Photo by 943rd Rescue Group)
