Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) honor guard members perform a dignified transfer for unknown service members Nov. 9, 2015, at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu. The dignified transfer marked the final disinterment for those who lost their lives aboard the USS Oklahoma during Imperial Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor Dec. 7, 1941. The remains will be transferred to the DPAA where experts will begin an identifying process to help provide closure for family members of the fallen. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
