97th FTS 25th Anniversary
Lt. Col. Jeremy Downs (left), 97th Flying Training Squadron instructor pilot, presents Lt. Col. Daniel Sheuermann, 97th FTS assistant director of operations, with a certificate of completion for flying 4,000 hours in a T-6 Texan II during the 97th FTS' 25th anniversary banquet in Wichita Falls, Texas. The squadron hosted a packed week of events celebrating its 25th anniversary, which included a fini-flight, a heritage flight, unit training assembly, and change of command, Oct. 18-20, 2023, on or near Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas.
