97th FTS 25th Anniversary heritage flight
As part of the 97th Flying Training Squadron “Devil Cats” 25th Anniversary celebration on Oct. 19, 2023, the squadron conducted a two-ship heritage flight over the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training Program building on Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, consisting of the 97th’s heritage T-6 Texan II and a historic P-51 Mustang, called “The Millie G,” which was named in honor of Maj.
