560th & 39th FTS Pilot for a Day visit

Cameryn Winn, child development intern from University of Texas San Antonio, helps broadcast a closed-circuit television show which involved virtual bingo hosted by Christus Children’s Hospital of San Antonio and two 560th Flying Training Squadron instructor pilots on Aug. 28, 2024. The visit was part of a community outreach initiative, called the Pilot for a Day roadshow, conducted by the 560th FTS and 39th Flying Training Squadron that offers children with serious illnesses a day of excitement and distraction from their medical challenges by giving them an opportunity to interact with service members and engage in activities that simulate the experience of being a pilot at their respective location.
