TV news reporter Pam Elliot in a live feed from LSA Anaconda in Balad, Iraq back to her station, WISH, in Indianapolis, IN talks about the military base and taking the danger seriously when traveling off-base, seeing Soldiers from other countries, doing stories on positive changes happening in Iraq and the safety of Humvees, and delivering letters from school children to soldiers here. She says she's seen Iraqi support for coalition forces, and talks about Iraqi forces building up to take over security. She has no military background and says being an embedded reporter has given her a whole new perspective. They also talk about the hot weather and the need to keep hydrated.
