Texas National Guard, Czech forces team up for flood response

Soldiers with the Texas Army National Guard’s 454th Engineer Company and 640th Small Unmanned Aerial Systems Detachment, Delta Flight, conduct coordinated search operations alongside Czech firefighters from the Czech Republic’s urban search-and-rescue team near Kerrville, Texas, July 16, 2025. Operating in flood-affected areas, the teams employed ground crews, drone reconnaissance, and search dogs trained to locate both survivors and victims. The Texas National Guard and Czechia have worked closely together for more than 30 years through the State Partnership Program. (U.S. Army National Guard video by Sgt. 1st Class Christy L.
