Package about how last week’s earthquake and tsunami destroyed homes and livelihoods up and down the eastern coast of Japan. Airman 1st Class Jimmy Moreland hit the streets of one coastal town to see what American volunteers were doing to help. Over 100 homes were destroyed in Hachinohe (Hatch-in-oh-hey) by the tsunami. The local Japanese estimated 2 week cleanup, volunteers helped them accomplish it in one day. Produced by Airman 1st Class Jimmy Moreland.
