Alaska is currently supporting the state’s largest military exercise, Northern Edge 2011. The training takes place in over 65 thousand feet of airspace in the Joint Pacific Alaska Range Complex or J.P.A.R.C. The Tanker Task Force is keeping the planes up in the air during the exercise.
