Members of the Indiana National Guard Youth Council assembled a billboard sized thank you card at Hamilton Exhibits in Indianapolis, Tuesday, July 24. Produced by Michael Krieg. The children of Indiana Army and Air National Guardsmen placed Velcro-backed name tapes of thousands of Hoosier veterans on a 16-foot by 40-foot banner that will be displayed at the Indiana State Fair. The Youth Council is also inviting Hoosier Veterans from across the state to bring their name tapes and mementos to add to the display at the fair. The display is a message of thanks and gratitude to Indiana citizens for their continued patriotic support, generosity and appreciation.
