U.S. Army flight crews with the 1-131st Aviation and 1-169th Aviation provide firefighting support to help suppress wildfires affecting the Alexandria, LA region, Aug. 31- Sept. 5, 2023. Alabama aviators, along with other neighboring states, successfully assisted with clearing more than 231 miles of linear fire breaks in Louisiana. (U.S. Army video by Spc. Carlos Parra)
