Coast Guard Unit Conducts Water Survival Training
Joint Task Force Guantanamo Public Affairs
July 13, 2012 | 1:59
Members of the U.S. Coast Guard spend a majority of their time on the water, instead of in it – unless they happen to be training. Sgt 1st Class Robert Stephenson was with the Joint Task Force Guantanamo Maritime Security Detachment as they trained for the possibility of what would happen if one of them found themselves knocked off their boat and into the water while wearing close to 50 pounds of protective gear.
