Spring Creek Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, one of Dauphin County’s largest nursing facilities, is one of several nursing homes and long-term care facilities in the state that has requested and received additional support from the Pennsylvania National Guard through the Department of Health and Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency to help with COVID-19 staffing shortage. Lt. Col. John Peacock's story exemplifies the blending of military and civilian careers and skill sets that makes the Pa. National Guard and extremely versatile force.
