Governor of Louisiana John Bel Edwards, Mayor-President of Baton Rouge and East Baton Rouge Parish Sheron Weston Broome and the Commanding General of U.S. Army North Lt. Gen. Laura Richardson address the media during a conference held at Baton Rouge General Mid City campus in Baton Rouge, April 19, 2020, to provide updates on the collaborative COVID-19 response and show their appreciation to the medical professionals and service members working across the country. Department of Defense is providing FEMA with mission-enhancing support to increase their ability to protect people and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
