YOKOSUKA (Feb. 11, 2020) Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15 hosted an annual Surface Warfare Officer (SWO) Summit at Fleet Activities Yokosuka. The SWO Summit is a four-day gathering of junior and senior SWOs navy-wide that facilitates tactical briefs about sharpening community readiness, enhancing capabilities and discussing specialized career opportunities. DESRON 15 is the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s primary surface force which support security and stability operations, and promote prosperity for all nations in the Indo-Pacific region.
