MCAS Iwakuni residents cast a line with Culture Adaptation’s Yamame Fishing Experience (Package/Pkg)
AFN - Iwakuni
June 13, 2019 | 1:59
Yamame fishing is a Japanese style of fishing, similar to western fly-fishing, where the fisherman casts out a weightless line to snag the fish. Lance Cpl. Joshua Davis went to a Japanese fishing pond in Hiroshima to see members of the Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni community reel in the culture. This video story includes soundbites from Doris Lambinicio, Resident, Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Hometown: San Francisco California and Tammi Cox, Resident, Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Hometown: Fort Walton Beach Florida. This story is available in high definition.
