Temple Stay
Defense Media Activity - Pacific
Jan. 29, 2014 | 2:05
There are many ways to find peace and relaxation. Some find it in a spa, others find it in a vacation to an exotic place. But one young woman finds it here in Korea’s Yong-ju temple, rich in culture.
SUGGESTED LEAD:
The USO offers many trips throughout South Korea and beyond. SGT John Portela introduces a young woman who took advantage of what the Area II USO has to offer and immersed herself into the unlikely of places.
SUGGESTED TAG:
If you’re looking for some peace of mind while stationed in Korea, or would just like to learn more about the Buddhist way of life, the Area II USO offers an overnight Temple stay once a month.
