United States Strategic Command's (USSTRATCOM) new command video, released in February of 2018, was produced by the 3rd Combat Camera Squadron in San Antonio, Texas. The video runs approximately three-and-a-half minutes. Our objective is to expand the national dialogue on 21st century deterrence. The video identifies the current global threats to U.S. national security, the USSTRATCOM commander's priorities, and how the nuclear deterrent has prevented major power conflict for more than 70 years. It also underscores the importance of our people; how the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, and Civilians of the entire USSTRATCOM enterprise are the backbone of the command’s global warfighting capabilities.
