The TAG Match is an annual competition aimed to promote exceptional marksmanship training.

This battle-focused, marksmanship championship offers service members from across the Indiana National Guard, both Army and Air, an opportunity to test their abilities amongst the best in the state and demonstrate their proficiency.

The top 20% of shooters in the rifle and pistol competition are awarded the coveted “Governor’s Twenty” tab.

With this tab comes the respect of your peers as you have proven yourself to be a subject matter expert in marksmanship excellence, and a master of your craft.

The competition is about more than just a tab. The ability to shoot accurately is a basic combat skill vital to the readiness of every Soldier and Airman.
